Yuxin Hua is a Los Angeles-based artist originally from China.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Illustration at ArtCenter College of Design, she served as a teaching assistant for multiple classes—including Greek Mythology, Dante’s Inferno, Shakespeare Plays & Films, History of Extinction, and the Basics of Ceramic Handbuilding. Her works have been shown in the ArtCenter student gallery during both Spring 2023 and Fall 2023.

Drawing on her experiences at ArtCenter, Yuxin’s work delves into the relationships between humans and nature, society, and the self. Through storytelling, she expresses her unique perspective on culture and life using both traditional and modern media, including ceramics and graphic novels.

Passionate about the belief that art is for everyone, Yuxin taught a ceramics hand-building class at Rockrose Gallery in the spring of 2024 and currently teaches at Fahrenheit Ceramic. And viewing teaching as another form of learning, she is also pursuing a future career in education.
